AVAST Mobile Security & Antivirus Popular antivirus now on Android. I’m not a fan of Avast, but after using this product on Andriod, I changed my opinion of it for the better.

Principal Functions

Traffic counter: 

• counting of incoming/outgoing data volumes;
• design is compatible with tablet PCs;
• possibility to remotely control the device with anti-theft functions (phone lock, GPS tracking, memory erase, etc.);
• automatic correction of incorrect URLs;
• On-demand scanning of installed applications and memory card contents, as well as scanning of each new application the first time you use it.
• SMS and Call filter: filter your selected contacts.
• anti-theft protection
• application management: list of forms and their sizes (in Mb), CPU load, memory usage, etc.
• Web Screen: scanning of all downloadable URLs, warning about detected malware.
• Battery Optimization: The Anti-Theft component only consumes battery power when it performs its tasks.
• Firewall (works only on phones with routing): controls all incoming/outgoing network traffic.

• How to install (update) avast! Mobile Security
• Download the APK file. If you are updating and the previous version of the application was downloaded from us, we put it on top of the old version. Otherwise, performance (saving data) is not guaranteed.
• Allow the installation of applications from unknown sources in the settings (done once)
• Install the APK (e.g., using a file manager)

• Run the application.
