Privacy Policy
Last updated: Jun 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information APKGStore (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit apk-store.org, how we use, share and protect it, and the choices and rights you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than dense legal jargon, because a privacy policy is only useful if you can actually understand it. It applies only to our online activities on this website and to visitors of the site; it does not apply to information collected offline or through any channel other than this website. By using the site, you consent to the practices described here.
A quick summary
You do not need an account to use APKGStore. We do not ask for your name or phone number, we do not sell your personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles about you. The data we handle is mostly standard technical and analytics information that almost every website collects, plus anything you voluntarily send us through a form. The sections below explain each point in full.
Information we collect
You can browse and download from APKGStore without creating an account or registering. The information we do handle falls into three groups:
- Technical data that your browser and device send automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, screen size, operating system, language setting and the page that referred you to us. This is standard log information used by virtually all websites.
- Usage data about which pages you view, how long you stay, what you click and how you move through the site, collected through analytics tools so we can understand what is useful, find broken pages and improve the experience.
- Information you choose to send us through a contact, report, update-request or comment form — for example your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message. You decide whether to provide this; the forms only ask for what is needed to reply.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, religion or political views), and we ask that you do not send such information to us through our forms.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain and improve the website; to understand which content is helpful and which is not; to keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect against attacks; to respond to your messages, reports and requests; to display and measure advertising that keeps the site free; and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not use the contact details you send us to build marketing or advertising profiles about you.
Legal bases for processing
Where data-protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, for non-essential cookies and analytics); our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the site; and compliance with legal obligations where the law requires us to retain or disclose information. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your language and preferences, keep the site working correctly, measure traffic and understand how the site is used. Cookies are small text files stored on your device; some are essential for the site to function, while others are optional and used for analytics or advertising. This includes third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which may set their own cookies and process data according to their own policies. You can control, block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse cookies or alert you when one is being set. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work. For the full details, the categories of cookies we use and how to opt out, see our Cookie Policy.
Analytics
To improve the site we use analytics providers that collect aggregated, mostly anonymous information about visits — pages viewed, approximate location at country or city level, device and browser type, and how visitors navigate. These tools help us see which guides are popular, where people get stuck, and which links are broken. We configure analytics to limit the data collected where we can, and the information is used to understand trends in aggregate, not to identify you personally.
Advertising
We may display advertising from third-party partners to keep the site free to use. These partners, including advertising networks, may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to show ads that are more relevant to you and to measure how those ads perform. Third-party ad servers operate under their own privacy policies, and APKGStore has no access to or control over the cookies they use. We do not share the contact details you send us with advertisers. If you would like to disable personalised advertising, you can usually do so through your browser settings or through the opt-out tools provided by the relevant advertising networks.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in limited circumstances: with service providers who help us run the site (such as hosting, analytics and security providers) and who are bound to protect it; when required by law, court order or a valid legal request; to protect the rights, safety and property of APKGStore, our users or the public; or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, in which case we would notify you of any change.
Third-party links
Some pages and download links point to third-party websites and sources that we do not own or control. Once you leave APKGStore, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of other sites, so please review their privacy policies separately before providing any information to them.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable physical, administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to data, and regular security maintenance. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to access the information we hold about you; to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete; to request that we delete it; to object to or restrict its processing; to withdraw consent where we rely on it; and, in some regions, to data portability. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. The first copy of your information is free; for repeated or excessive requests we may charge a small, reasonable administrative fee where the law allows. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Data retention
We keep the messages you send us only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records and to deal with any follow-up. We retain analytics data for a limited period in line with our analytics providers’ settings. When information is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
International visitors and data transfers
APKGStore is available worldwide. If you access the site from outside the country where our servers or service providers are located, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, we do not currently respond to them differently, but you can still control tracking through your cookie and browser settings as described above.
Changes to this policy
We may modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements or for other operational reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically; your continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
Contact us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, your data, or how to exercise your rights, email [email protected] or use our Contact page. We read and respond to every message.
