What is JioTV?

JioTV is Jio Platforms Limited's live television service for India. Do you need a Jio account?

Yes, and this is the part worth being straight about. JioTV signs you in with a Jio account, which means an active Jio mobile number. There is no way around that step, the app checks your login against Jio's servers, so no build and no setting skips it.

The service is also built for India. It is geo-locked, and the channel line-up is Indian broadcast TV. Outside India, or without a Jio number, the app installs fine but you won't get past sign-in to the streams. If you don't have a Jio SIM yet, that is the one thing to sort out first, everything else in the app follows from it.

Is there a "premium" or MOD?

Short answer: no, and you don't need one. JioTV is free to download and free to use with a Jio account, there is no paid tier inside it to "unlock." So the "premium unlocked" or "no login" versions you'll see floating around don't really mean anything here, there is no premium to open, and the login is handled on Jio's side, not in the app's code. A repackaged file can't talk its way past that server check.

That is why we list the plain official APK. It is the safest file to run, it updates cleanly, and it does everything the app is meant to do once you sign in. Skip the "modded" builds for this one, they add risk and give you nothing extra.
