The core loop is short and heavy. You clear a stage, collect gold and souls, then head back to the smith and the skill screen to make your fighter stronger for the next one. There are 100+ stages, dragon bosses at the milestones, and a separate Dark Dungeon for tougher runs and better drops. Combat can be played by hand or left on an auto mode, which is handy for farming the early stages while you save your attention for the boss floors.
