What is Rovercraft: Race Your Space Car?

Rovercraft is a 2D build-and-drive game from Mobirate. You design a rover out of parts, reactors, engines, wheels and turbo boosters, then drive it across the bumpy hills of one planet after another. Half of the fun is engineering: a rover that is too heavy stalls on climbs, and one that is too light flips on the first jump. You keep tuning until it holds the road.

There are three modes. Planets is the main campaign, where you travel from Earth outward. Challenges throws set puzzles at you for extra parts and coins. Tournaments is the online mode where you race other players. The game spans 14+ planets, Earth, Venus, Mercury, Mars, PSO318, Charon, Uranus, Neptune and more, each with its own terrain and gravity, so a rover that flies on the Moon may crawl on a heavier world. The physics is the whole point, and it stays believable the deeper you go.

What the MOD gives you

One honest note. The coins in Rovercraft live locally in the single-player game, so the MOD changes a number the game already keeps on your phone. That is why it works in the campaign and in Challenges, no tricks, no fake balance. Offline play and online tournaments

Planets and Challenges both run offline. You can build, drive and unlock on a plane or with Wi-Fi off, and the unlimited money works there fully, with nothing for a server to check and no ban to worry about. Tournaments is the exception. It is online multiplayer, and results there run through Mobirate's side, so modified progress may simply not count. For tournaments, play a clean install if you care about the standings. For everything single-player, the MOD is the whole draw.

Tips for building a fast rover

• Balance weight against power. A monster engine on a heavy frame still bogs down on climbs, so add thrust and mass together.
• Save your turbo for uphill stretches. Wasting it on flat ground just burns the boost you need at the top.
• Fit bigger wheels for rough terrain. They soak up bumps and keep you from tipping on rocky planets.
• Match your engine upgrade to the planet's gravity. Heavier worlds need more torque before your rover will move at all.
• Clear the Challenges. They hand out parts and coins on top of your normal runs, which speeds up every build after.
