It handles scratching, looping and cueing the way desktop DJ software does, scaled down to a phone or tablet. The free tier lets you try the basics, and the Pro tier is where the recording, deeper EQ and advanced cue tools live.

What the Pro mod unlocks

These are client-side Pro features, so the unlock applies on your device and holds up offline. The exact package for the current build is shown in the «MOD info» line at the top of this page. It supports common audio formats, including MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV and AIFF.

Offline use and safety

Cross DJ is an offline tool. It does not tie your work to a server account, which is why the Pro unlock is stable rather than something a server can switch off. DJ tips for beginners

• Start with beatmatching. Load two tracks, watch the BPM readout, and nudge one deck so the beats line up before you bring it in.
• Use keylock when you change tempo. It keeps the vocals in tune while you speed a track up or down to match the other deck.
• Set hot cues at the drops. With quantize on, your jumps snap to the beat, so the mix stays tight even if your timing is off.
• Mix with the EQ, not just the fader. Pull the bass out of the incoming track, then swap it in on the drop to avoid two basslines clashing.
• Record a set and listen back. Hearing your own transitions is the fastest way to spot where a blend runs long or drifts off beat.

MOD or official Pro?
