The equipment is licensed from real agricultural brands, so every machine is modelled on one that exists rather than a made-up one. You will recognise names like Case IH, Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Kuhn, Amazone and Krone across the tractors, headers, ploughs, seeders and balers. Cut and bale hay for your cows, or sell it. You can also hire AI workers to run a machine while you handle another job, useful when you need to plough, harvest and haul all at once.

• Start with wheat or canola. Grains move through the cultivate-sow-harvest loop quickly, so you learn the whole cycle before you worry about anything slower, and cash comes in sooner.
• Watch the market before you sell. Prices move up and down, so the same load of grain can be worth more a day or two later, store it and sell at a peak instead of dumping it straight off the harvester.
• Keep cows for passive income. Once they are fed they produce milk on their own, so you get money coming in while your fields are still growing. It is the easiest steady earner early on.
• Put the autopilot to work. Set an AI worker to run the combine while you drive the trailer to the seller. That roughly doubles what you get done in a game that is all about using your time well.
• Match your header to the crop and don't overbuy. A mid-size machine clears the starter fields fine and leaves you cash for a second tractor or a better trailer.

MOD vs original, and multiplayer

Farming Simulator 14 is an offline single-player game, so there is no online mode and nothing to get banned from. The one social feature is local multiplayer over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. You farm together on the same network, not over the internet. There is no server to ban you, but every player needs a compatible version to connect, so a modded phone and a Google Play phone may not match up.
