The other side is PvP against players from around the world, with global rankings. It is asynchronous, which means you duel a recorded copy of another player's fencer rather than a live opponent, so there is no waiting to be matched. Be clear about the limits. The money is genuinely useful for gear and the PvE career, where you are spending against the game itself. Your account is still tied to the online side, and the MOD does not hand you wins in ranked PvP.
