One thing to know before you download: this is the same app the developer now calls Taxi Car Simulator: EVO. Same game, same package, new name.

Taxi Sim 2020 → 2022 Evolution → EVO: same game, new name

If you have seen this taxi sim under three different titles, that is not a mistake. The one app, package com.ovilex.taxisim2019, started as Taxi Sim 2020, was renamed Taxi Sim 2022 Evolution, and now sits on Google Play as Taxi Car Simulator: EVO. The developer, Ovidiu Pop (OviLex), simply rebranded the same game twice.

That is why other sites and old bookmarks still show the 2020 or 2022 name. The file on this page is the current build, the same version Google Play ships today, so you are getting the newest EVO game under the name most people still search for. Nothing about it is outdated except the title.

What the Taxi Sim 2020 MOD gives you

The core of this MOD is unlimited money. In the normal game you start small, drive fares and slowly save up for a better car. Here your balance is already full, so you skip the grind.

An honest note: the money is local to your save, and the MOD is for the offline career and Free Roam. In Online Multiplayer the balance runs on the developer’s servers, so a MOD can’t give you money there, better not to load into online with a modded build. The exact MOD package for the current file is always shown in the «MOD info» line at the top of this page.

Gameplay: career, free roam, clients

This is a proper driving sim, not an arcade racer. You pick up passengers, follow traffic rules and get paid on the fare and how you drive. Different clients behave differently, some are in a hurry, some are nervous, some are VIPs who tip well, and some can’t make up their mind about where to go.

The world reacts to you. Your car gets dirty and needs washing, wipers and turn signals actually matter, and you stop at gas stations and car washes like a real cabbie. There is a weather system, pedestrians open umbrellas when it rains, plus destructible objects around the map, and Ovidiu Pop adds new cars most weeks. Three modes cover it: Career for the taxi grind, Free Roam to just drive, and Online Multiplayer to share the streets with other players.

How to download Taxi Sim 2020 MOD APK

The file is large, about 703.5 MB, so keep roughly 1.5 GB of free space for the download and install. The whole thing takes a few minutes.

1. Tap the green Download APK button at the top of this page, the file downloads directly, no registration or SMS.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings → Security).
3. If the Google Play version is already installed, remove it first, the MOD has a different signature and won’t install over it.

• Start with short, calm fares to learn the map before you chase VIP clients across the city.
• How you treat a passenger changes the tip, smooth driving and the right route pay more than raw speed.
• Even with unlimited money, a luxury car earns most once you can handle VIP runs; take it out when you’re ready, not on your first fare.
• Try the steering options, tilt, on-screen buttons or a virtual wheel, and stick with the one that feels right before a long shift.
• Keep the car clean and fuelled; a dirty, damaged cab lowers your rating and your income.
