What is The Sims 3 on Android?

Here is the boundary, stated plainly: Simoleons are a local, offline currency. The MOD changes a number on your device and nothing more. There are no online rewards, no shared economy and no server-side items to hand out, because the game has none. What you get is a full wallet from the first minute, not new content.

Why it's not on Google Play

EA removed the mobile Sims 3 from Google Play, so you can no longer buy or download it from the store. That is why we host an APK here: it is the way to install the final mobile version, 1.6.11, on a phone today. We won't send you to a Play listing that no longer sells the game. The "Get it on Google Play" button only leads to a store search now.

APK plus game data

The APK on this page is about 3.10 MB, which is small for a game this size. That is because the installer is only the first piece. The Sims 3 keeps its heavy content, textures and audio, in separate game data, similar to an OBB, an "opaque binary blob" that holds a game's extra files.
