What is CamScanner?

CamScanner is a document scanner from INTSIG PTE. LTD. Point your camera at a page and it turns into a clean PDF or JPG. It auto-detects the edges, fixes the perspective when you shoot at an angle, and sharpens the text so a photo of a receipt reads like a proper scan.

There is more under the hood. OCR pulls editable text out of a photo or PDF, you can export to PDF, Word or TXT, and the app syncs your files to CamScanner's cloud so they show up on your other devices. It has passed 560 million downloads on Google Play. The app is freemium: scanning is free, but the free tier stamps a watermark on exports, shows ads and locks some features behind a monthly or yearly Premium plan.

What the MOD unlocks (client-side)

These are all client-side limits, the kind baked into the app build itself, so a MOD can flip them off. The exact MOD package for the current build is listed in the MOD info line at the top of this page, and we re-check it after each app update.

What the MOD can NOT give (server / account)

This is the part most sites skip, and it is the honest one. Some of CamScanner Premium lives on INTSIG's servers, not inside the app, so no MOD can reach it:

• Account-linked Premium status tied to your INTSIG login
• Server-side quotas, including cloud OCR batches
• Team and collaboration features

All of these are validated on INTSIG's side. When you sign in with a real account, or when the app updates, the client-side unlock can drop back to free. So treat the MOD as a clean way to scan and export on one device, not as a free CamScanner Premium account.

Privacy and security note

Scans are sensitive by nature. Think passports, bank statements, contracts. A third-party MOD build asks for camera and file access just like the original does, and you are trusting whoever repackaged it. For throwaway scans and everyday paperwork, that trade is fine. For documents that actually matter, the official version is the safer call, and I would not sign in with your main CamScanner account inside an unverified build.

How to download and install CamScanner MOD APK

3. If the Google Play version is installed, remove it first, the MOD won't install over it because the signature is different.
