What is vFlat Scan?

vFlat Scan by VoyagerX is a productivity app that photographs a page and gives you back a clean scan. Point the camera at a book, a handwritten note or a printed document, and the app crops the page, straightens it and removes shadows, glare and even the fingers holding the book open.

Its signature trick is AI page-flattening: it corrects the curve you get near the spine of a thick book, so text close to the fold stays readable. It also runs OCR, turning a photo of text into words you can copy and edit.

What the Premium MOD gives you

The MOD version switches on the Premium features that the free app keeps behind a subscription. Here is what changes on the device.

One honest caveat. Some Premium features run on VoyagerX servers and are tied to your account, not to the app file: the OCR quota, the AI page-flattening pass and cloud sync can all be checked server-side. A "Premium Unlocked" APK opens the interface on your phone, but it cannot make the server treat your account as Premium. On-device scanning, cropping and local export work; the account-bound server features may not.

The original vFlat Scan is free with limits, and VoyagerX sells a Premium subscription on top. Paying supports the developer and covers the server-side parts: the full OCR quota, cloud sync and the AI processing that runs on their side.

The MOD gives you the on-device Premium features without a subscription, but the account-bound server features may stay off. If you scan mostly offline and export to PDF or JPG, the MOD covers you. If you lean on heavy OCR or cloud backup across several devices, the subscription is the safer route. The choice is yours.

Tips for best scans

• Scan in even light. A window or a desk lamp beats the phone flash, which throws glare across the page.
• For a thick book, hold it as flat as you can and let the AI flattening handle the curve near the spine.
• Use OCR when you want to digitise notes, then export to TXT so you can edit the text later.
• Keep related pages in one folder and merge them into a single PDF before you share.
