What is FIFA 15 Ultimate Team?

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team was EA's mobile FIFA built entirely around the Ultimate Team mode: you collected player cards, built a squad and chased chemistry, the same loop console players know. It shipped with a huge licensed database, over 10,000 real players, 500+ licensed clubs, 30 leagues and real stadiums, all under the 2014/15 season badge.

For a lot of people it is a nostalgia object more than a game now. It was the point where mobile FIFA still felt like a full football title with proper licences, before the format changed. That is the value it holds today: a snapshot of that season, kept on your phone.

Server status: what works in 2026

Here is the honest part. EA turned off the FIFA 15 Ultimate Team servers on 10 May 2017. The mobile game was online-first: squads, coins and matches all ran through an EA account, so the original 1.7.0 client checks for a connection at startup. With the servers gone, that check has nowhere to go, so the online side of the game is finished for good. This is not an install error and no fix brings it back.

So what is left? Two honest options, and we won't oversell either:

• The original 1.7.0 build. The file on this page. Treat it as a collector's archive of the final version. Whether it plays past the connection screen depends on the client, and we are not promising it does.
• A "Patched" build. Some versions in the wild claim to strip the online check for offline matches against the AI. We only badge a file as playable offline once it has been confirmed on a real device, and that check is still open (see the owner note at the bottom).

How to download and install (APK + OBB)

FIFA 15 ships as two files, both from this page: a small APK and a large OBB with the game data. The one upside of its age is that it installs on almost anything. It targets Android 2.3.3 and up, so even an old handset can hold it.

1. Tap the green Download APK button at the top of this page, then grab the OBB listed below it. Both download directly, no registration or SMS.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings → Security).
3. Move the OBB into the Android/obb/com.ea.game.fifa15_row folder (create it if it isn't there). Any file manager can do this.
4. Install the APK and launch the game. Remember the server note above: the original client will try to connect at startup.
