Idle Heroes MOD APK is a private-server client for DHGAMES’ cult idle-RPG, where every player starts at VIP 13 with boosted rewards and faster access to the game’s 400+ heroes. This is not a hack of your official account, it is a separate server with its own rules, and we explain exactly how it works below.

On this page you can download the latest working version of the client, scanned for malware and installed on a real Android device by our editors before publishing, we have done this since 2018.

What is Idle Heroes?

Idle Heroes by DHGAMES is one of the longest-running idle-RPGs on Android: your heroes fight and level up on their own, even while the app is closed, so you log in to collected rewards instead of grinding every battle. You build a team from 400+ heroes across six factions, Shadow, Fortress, Abyss, Forest, Dark and Light, fusing and promoting them into stronger versions.

Progression runs through a long campaign from Sara Forest up to High Heaven, plus guild wars, the Arena, the Tower and rotating events. It is a collection game at heart: the fun is pulling heroes, finding synergies and pushing a stage that stopped you yesterday. That is what most of these MOD builds are really feeding, faster access to heroes and currency.

Idle Heroes MOD APK = a private server: how it works

This is the part almost no download page explains. The “VIP 13 / unlimited gems” builds are not cracks of the official game. They are a client for a private server run separately from DHGAMES.

On that server everyone is VIP 13 from the first login, daily and event rewards are boosted, and some heroes are rebalanced so you can build a strong team fast. It runs in monthly seasons: a season opens on the 1st and closes on the 28th, then the server resets and a new season begins. You start fresh each month.

Your progress here does not touch your official DHGAMES account, nothing carries over, in either direction, and there is no risk to your real profile.

Why mods can’t hack the official server

Idle Heroes is fully online. Your gems, money and heroes live on DHGAMES’ servers, not in the app on your phone, so a modified client cannot add currency to your official account. “Unlimited gems for your own profile” does not exist, whatever a download page promises.

That is exactly why the scene runs on private servers instead: a separate server can simply hand everyone VIP 13 and boosted rewards. The only client-side mod for the official game is a speed hack, and it does not touch currency. If a build claims free gems on your real account, it is either the private server misdescribed or nothing at all.

How to download and install the Idle Heroes MOD APK

The client downloads straight from this page. Because it connects to a different server, it usually installs alongside the official game rather than over it, but confirm the package on your device, and keep the original if you still play it.

1. Tap the green Download APK button at the top of this page, the file downloads directly, no registration or SMS.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings → Security).
3. Open the downloaded file and tap Install. You will need an internet connection, the game is online and the private server has to be reachable.
4. Launch it, create a new profile on the private server, and you are at VIP 13.

Beginner tips for the private server

• Start on the 1st. Seasons reset on the 28th, so beginning early in the month gives you the full run before the wipe.
• Ride the events. Boosted rewards stack with event drops, so daily event clears are worth more here than on the official server.
• At VIP 13 you can afford to build around a five-star faction team early, pick one faction, stack its bonuses, and push the campaign rather than spreading heroes thin.
• Do not chase a long-term account. Everything resets monthly, so spend freely and experiment with team comps you would never risk on your real profile.

MOD or original?

If you want a long-term account, a guild with friends and progress that sticks, play the original on Google Play (link in the info table above), nothing here carries over to it. If you’d rather have everything at once, test hero line-ups freely and don’t mind starting over each month, the private-server MOD is for you.
