Online versus offline and fair play

Use the menu tweaks against the computer or in local pass-and-play, where nothing connects to a server and no other real player is affected. That is safe and just for fun. In online matches it is a different story: a dice tweak or a token hack is unfair to the people you are playing against, and modified play can put your online account at risk. So keep the cheats for solo and local games, and play online matches clean. The no-ads part is fine to keep on everywhere.

How to download and install

2. If the Google Play version is installed, remove it first. The MOD has a different signature and will not install over it.

• Know the six rule. You need a six to bring a token out of the yard, and rolling a six gives you another turn, so a good streak can swing a game fast.
• Spread your tokens. Moving all four a little beats racing one home. Extra tokens on the board give you more ways to capture opponents.
• Capture when it counts. Landing on an opponent sends their token back to start, which is often worth more than sprinting for home.
• Use safe squares. Star tiles protect your token from capture, so park there when you are ahead and cannot move safely.
• Pick the mode for the mood. Play against the computer to practice, local pass-and-play for a group in one room, or online to face friends.
