NBA 2K18 APK is the classic 2017/18-season NBA 2K basketball for Android, the mobile port with full teams, real rosters and the 2K Beats soundtrack. It used to be a paid app on Google Play, but 2K has since pulled it from the store, so the only way to get it now is as an APK plus its OBB data file. Both are on this page.

What is NBA 2K18 on Android?

NBA 2K18 is the mobile version of 2K's 2017 basketball sim. It runs fully offline and packs the modes phone players actually use:

• MyCAREER. Build your own player from the draft up and climb toward a starting role.
• The Association. The GM mode: run a season, handle trades, manage your roster and lineup.
• Quick Game. Pick two teams and play a single match, no setup.

It ships with the 2017/18-season rosters, the 2K Beats soundtrack and controller support. One honest note: the console extras some sites list, Neighborhood, Super Max, online multiplayer, were never in the mobile build. This port is offline basketball, and that is what you are downloading.

What the MOD gives you

The MOD Money version adds a large local currency balance, so you can upgrade your MyCAREER player and buy what you need without grinding for VC. It works for a simple reason: NBA 2K18 on Android is an offline game, and the currency is stored on your own device. There is no server checking it.

You choose which file to install. Want the untouched game with normal progression? Take the clean original. Want to skip the grind? Install the MOD build. Both are listed at the top of this page, and both use the same OBB.

To keep expectations straight: this MOD changes the in-game money, nothing more. It does not add console features, and there is no online mode to unlock, because the mobile game never had a live one.

Why NBA 2K18 is gone from Google Play

2K has been retiring its older paid mobile 2K games, and NBA 2K18 is one of them, the same thing happened to NBA 2K19. The app is no longer on the Play Store, so the Google Play button on the old listing just ran a search and found nothing. That is why this page shows a Not on Google Play badge instead.

Version 37.0.3 is the final build (September 2018). There will be no newer one, which makes this file a stable, permanent copy rather than something that goes out of date. Any online features the game once had were switched off long ago; what remains are the offline modes, and they are the whole game.

How to install APK + OBB (step by step)

NBA 2K18 ships in two parts, and both come from this page: the APK and the 2.2 GB OBB. Keep at least 2.5 GB of free storage before you start.

1. Download the APK (original or MOD Money) and the OBB file from the buttons on this page. Both download directly, no registration or SMS.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings → Security).
3. Install the APK, but do not open the game yet.
4. Move the OBB into Android/obb/com.t2ksports.nba2k18and/, create the folder if it does not exist.
5. Now launch the game. It reads the OBB on first start and loads straight in.

NBA 2K18 vs NBA 2K19 on Android

Both games are offline APK + OBB downloads now, and both were pulled from Google Play. NBA 2K18 is the lighter pick: it runs on Android 4.3 and up, and its MyCAREER is the classic build-from-the-draft mode with no story cutscenes in the way.
