These are options, not limits forced on you. Turn them on when you are on a metered plan, leave them off on unlimited Wi-Fi.

Is torrenting legal?

The BitTorrent protocol and the uTorrent client are legal software. Torrenting is just a way to move files between people, and plenty of legal projects use it, for example Linux distributions like Ubuntu, game patches, and public-domain media.

What can cross the line is the content. Downloading movies, music, games or software that is under copyright without permission is illegal in most countries, and that is on you, not the app. Stick to files you have the right to download, and keep in mind that your provider can see that you are torrenting even if it cannot always see what.

How to download and install
