Blocky Cars Online is a pixel shooter and car builder in one. You assemble a battle machine or a tank from more than 90 blocks, bolt on weapons from a pool of 30-plus guns, and take it into a multiplayer arena with up to 8 players. The look is blocky and cube-styled, close in spirit to a sandbox shooter, but the driving and aiming are the real game.

There are 12 maps and several modes: deathmatch, Capture the Flag and racing. You can play the garage and build cars on your own, but the battles need other players. Simple to pick up, and the tuning goes deep once you start balancing armor, speed and firepower.

To keep expectations straight: this MOD does not give unlimited money, gold or ammo. Blocky Cars Online is online, and the coins that buy skins, blocks and weapons are stored on the game's servers. The garage is where most matches are won or lost. A few things that help on the first day:

• Start light: a small chassis plus one strong gun beats a heavy brick that can barely turn.
• Balance armor against speed. A tank that can't reach the objective is a slow target.
• Open a single reliable weapon first instead of spreading blocks across three half-built guns.
• On Capture the Flag maps, build for mobility, grabbing and running matters more than raw damage.
• Test each machine in the garage before you take it into a live match, so you know how it handles.

MOD in multiplayer, manage expectations

This is the honest part. Blocky Cars Online is an online game with real opponents, and using a modded account on public servers carries a ban risk. Anti-cheat and other players notice a car that never dies or one-shots everything. This is not us talking you out of the MOD. It is worth knowing before you load into a ranked lobby. If you want clean multiplayer, the original build on this page is the safer choice; the MOD is best kept for messing around and testing.
