What is Six-Guns: Gang Showdown?

Six-Guns is a third-person open-world shooter from Gameloft, first released in 2011. You play Buck Crosshaw, an outlaw who faked his own death and rode into Arizona, then Oregon, only to find the frontier crawling with more than bandits. The story runs across roughly 40 missions and mixes plain gunslinging with the supernatural: wendigos, undead riders and other things that should not be walking around.

There is more than shooting. You collect 19 firearms, tame 8 horses, ride into horse races and hold your ground in a few tower-defense-style episodes. It is a big game for its age, built to be played out on the trail. If you like open-world Gameloft action, Gangstar Vegas MOD is still live, and there is more in the action games catalog.

Why it's gone from the stores, and how it survives

Gameloft pulled Six-Guns from distribution during a wider clean-out of its older titles. The game has had no updates since around 2018, and v2.9.9a is the final version. It will not change. The Google Play listing is dead, so there is no official route left to install it.

The file on this page is the complete package: APK plus OBB, about 421.9 MB together, so the game does not have to pull anything from a server after install, which matters, because Gameloft's servers for old titles are gone. One honest limit: the multiplayer and any online modes are dead. What you get is the single-player campaign, and it plays fully offline.

On very recent Android, 13, 14 and 15, the game can still run, but a 2018 title was not made for phones of this era, so the odd glitch is possible.
