• Start rear-wheel drive, stock setup. Learn how a basic car slides before you touch tuning. A wild build hides your mistakes instead of fixing them.
• Countersteer with the throttle, not just the wheel. The slide is held with gas control: feed power to keep the angle, ease off to straighten. This is the whole game.
• Tune wheel angle and tire pressure last. Camber and pressure change how the car holds a slide; adjust them once you can already drift, so you feel the difference.

MOD and online play, what to expect

Straight answer, one section. Solo modes and Ghost mode run fine with the MOD, practice, tuning, learning drift, all of it works and none of it touches the servers. The unlimited money is yours to spend there.

Online rooms and clubs are different. Those sessions report results to the developer's servers, and a modded account carries a real risk of a ban in that context.
