• Use the slide on dirt, but stay off it on tarmac. Grip is much higher on asphalt, so a big drift there just scrubs speed.
• Tune with the free money. Softer suspension helps on rough stages, stiffer setups suit smooth tarmac, so match the car to the surface.
• Learn the stage once slow. Knowing where the tight corners and jumps are matters more than raw pace on the first run.
