CarX Drift Racing MOD APK is the final build of CarX Technologies' drift simulator with unlimited coins from the first launch, so you can buy and tune cars without grinding runs for currency. This is version 1.16.2, the last release before the game left Google Play, packaged as an APK plus its OBB data. Our editors scanned the file for malware and installed it on a real Android device before publishing.

One thing to be upfront about: CarX Drift Racing was pulled from Google Play in September 2024 and support ended that November. Version 1.16.2 is where the game stopped, so treat this as a legacy title you play offline. More on that below.

What is CarX Drift Racing?

CarX Drift Racing is a drift simulator built around CarX Technologies' physics engine, the same slip-and-grip model the studio later reused in CarX Street and the sequel. The whole game is about holding a controlled slide: you feather the throttle, catch the car mid-drift and keep the angle as long as you can for a bigger score.

There are dozens of cars to buy and tune, from the paint to the suspension and engine. You earn coins by drifting well, then spend them on new machines and parts. Modes cover free drift, training and time-based runs, with online rooms layered on top. Off the track it is a career grind; on the track it is pure car control.

What the MOD gives you

The MOD changes the coin economy and a couple of conveniences. Here is what it actually does:

To keep expectations honest: coins here are the game's offline, local currency. They fill your in-game wallet on this device and nothing more. The MOD gives no online edge, no rank push and nothing that reaches a server, because the game's servers are effectively gone.

Delisted game: why you install an APK and OBB

CarX Drift Racing 1 was removed from Google Play on 7 September 2024, and CarX Technologies closed support for it on 1 November 2024. That was the studio's own call, and it means 1.16.2 is the final version. You cannot get it from Play anymore, so the game comes as two manual files instead.

The small APK (about 33 MB) holds the app; the OBB (about 485 MB) holds the game data such as car models, tracks and audio. An OBB is an "opaque binary blob", a data file that a big game keeps apart from its APK. You place it by hand so the game can find its content. Online rooms and leaderboards may not respond now that support is closed, which is why we treat this as an offline drift game.

How to download and install CarX Drift Racing MOD APK (APK + OBB)

1. Grab both files from this page: tap the green Download APK button, then get the OBB file listed below it. Both download directly, no registration or SMS.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings, then Security).
3. Move the OBB into the game's Android/obb/<package>/ folder. The exact package name is shown in the MOD info line at the top of this page. Create the folder if it is not there.
4. Install the APK, open the game and let it load its data. Your coins are already stocked. Android 4.1 and up is enough to run it.

Tips for high drift scores

• Hold the slide longer. Your score climbs with a steady angle, so keep the car sideways instead of snapping straight.
• Tune for drift, not grip. Soften the rear traction and stiffen the setup so the tail breaks loose on command.
• Ease off the throttle on corner exit. Full power mid-slide spins you out; smooth inputs keep the chain going.
• Spend coins on the clutch and engine first. Controllable power makes long links far easier to hold than raw speed.

MOD or original?

The original is no longer an option: it left Google Play and the studio stopped updating it. What you get here is that same final 1.16.2 with the coin grind removed, meant to be played offline. There is no account tied to it and no live service behind it, so there is nothing to get banned from.
