N.O.V.A. 3 MOD APK is Gameloft’s classic sci-fi shooter with unlimited money, packaged as an APK plus its OBB data file so you can play the full campaign on Android. You return as Kal Wardin, the marine from the first two games, called back to defend humanity across a story that spans ten missions.

The catch: N.O.V.A. 3 was removed from Google Play years ago, so a direct APK is now the only way to install it. On this page you get the final Freedom Edition build with the money mod, scanned for malware and installed on a real Android device by our editors before publishing, we have done this since 2018.

What is N.O.V.A. 3: Freedom Edition?

N.O.V.A. 3 is a first-person shooter from Gameloft, the third chapter in the Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance series. The single-player campaign runs 10 missions across alien worlds and orbital stations, with on-foot firefights, turret sections and vehicle and mech segments that break up the pace.

The old build also carried online multiplayer for up to 12 players across 7 modes, from team deathmatch to capture-the-point. Freedom Edition is simply the free release of N.O.V.A. 3, the same game, no separate purchase, which is the version the whole community still passes around today.

Why N.O.V.A. 3 is not on Google Play

Gameloft pulled most of its older premium titles from the store, and N.O.V.A. 3 went with them. Search for it on Google Play now and you get a results page, not an install button, the listing is gone.

That is why a direct APK matters here. It is not a shortcut around the store; the store simply no longer carries the game. The file on this page is the same final Freedom Edition build, kept intact so the campaign still runs the way it did on launch.

What the MOD gives you

This is a money mod, and we keep the promise narrow on purpose. What it changes:

That is the whole mod. There is no god mode, no unlocked skins, no infinite ammo and no aimbot, so anyone advertising those for this file is guessing. If a build ever adds more, it will be spelled out in the MOD info line at the top of this page, not buried in the text.

How to install N.O.V.A. 3 APK + OBB (step by step)

N.O.V.A. 3 ships in two parts: a small APK (about 16 MB) and a large OBB data file (about 1.3 GB) that holds the maps, textures and audio. Both come from this page. Keep roughly 3 GB of storage free while it unpacks.

1. Tap the green Download APK button at the top of this page, then grab the OBB file listed below it. Both download directly, with no registration or SMS.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings → Security).
3. Move the OBB into the Android/obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftNAHM folder, and create it if it isn’t there. Any file manager can do this.
4. Install the APK, then launch the game with the internet turned off on the first run. This skips the old license check that otherwise throws an error on this delisted build.

One honest note on compatibility: this is an old build, so on some newer Android phones it can crash or refuse to load. It ran on the devices our editors tested, but we won’t promise it on each handset. If it fails to start, the offline-first-launch trick above fixes the most common failure.

Offline campaign and multiplayer today

The good news for most players: the 10-mission campaign is fully offline. Once installed, you can play it on a plane, on the metro or anywhere without Wi-Fi.

Multiplayer is a different story. This is an old release and its online servers are no longer maintained, so matchmaking for the 12-player modes is effectively dead. Treat N.O.V.A. 3 today as a single-player game, because that is where the working content lives.

N.O.V.A. 3 vs NOVA Legacy

People mix these up, so to be clear: NOVA Legacy is a lighter free-to-play remake of the first N.O.V.A., and it is still on Google Play. N.O.V.A. 3 is the full third game in the series, with a bigger campaign, heavier weapons and vehicles and no energy timers. If you want the newer, streamlined version, get Legacy from the store; if you want the classic third chapter, this is the file for it.
