What is Modern Conflict 2?

Modern Conflict 2 is a tactical war strategy by Gaijin, the studio behind War Thunder. You capture and hold points on the map, then feed the ground you own into building tanks, artillery and aircraft to overrun the enemy. It is fast, top-down and built for touch, a full match takes minutes, not hours.

The game shipped with more than 100 maps across four kinds of terrain, tundra, desert, jungle and city, plus a story campaign, standalone special operations and over 100 achievements. Each terrain changes how units move and where you want to dig in, so the same tactic rarely works everywhere.

Not on Google Play, what that means

Modern Conflict 2 was pulled from Google Play, and it has not been updated since 2018. We checked in July 2026: the store page is gone. That makes 1.34.0 the final version. There is nothing newer to wait for, and an APK from a page like this is how you play it in 2026.

One honest note on the online side. The game is 8+ years old and Gaijin's servers for it are almost certainly down, so treat this as a single-player game: the campaign and special operations run offline. If you are hoping for live multiplayer battles, do not count on them here.

What the MOD gives you

The MOD adds unlimited in-game money, which is offline currency you spend on units and upgrades during a match. That is the whole change. It is an honest money MOD, nothing tied to a server and nothing that touches other players.

The two buttons sit on an older build than the original. That is normal for a game no one maintains anymore, since the MOD was made against the version that was current at the time. If you want the last, most complete build, grab the original 1.34.0. If you'd rather have money from the first mission, the MOD is for you.

How to download and install Modern Conflict 2 MOD APK
