What is Taleem City?

Taleem City is an education app built around the Pakistani school and college syllabus. Instead of one kind of material, it brings together several: subject notes, solved and unsolved past papers, guess and model papers, test sessions, and full textbooks in PDF. Everything is sorted by class and subject, so you open the app, pick your class, then your subject, and read.

The app is aimed at students of the BISE boards, the regional Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education that run Pakistan's Matric and Intermediate exams. It is made by Taleem Devs and costs nothing to use.

What subjects and classes are covered

The core of the app is the four exam classes, plus a wider textbook library.

Subjects follow the board syllabus and cover both the science and the arts side:

• English and Urdu
• Islamiat and Pakistan Studies
• Physics, Chemistry and Biology
• Mathematics and Computer Science

Past papers are grouped by class and subject as well, so a 10th-class student can pull up previous board papers for Physics or Maths and see how questions repeat from year to year. The textbook library reaches wider than the four exam classes, covering Nursery to Class 12 in PDF, which is handy if you also help a younger sibling with their books.

The APK on this page was scanned and installed on a real Android device by our editors before it went live, the same check we have run since 2018.

One thing to know: the app was removed from Google Play back in July 2021, so the Play Store is no longer a source for it. The official home for the project is the website taleemcity.com, and you can also install the tested APK from the button on this page.

2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings, then Security or Special access).
