What is The Trail?

The Trail is a walking game. You follow a path on foot through wild country, forests, hills and mountains, heading for a frontier town called Eden Falls. There is no driving and no map to fill in: you just keep moving forward.

As you walk you pick up whatever the land gives you: wood, stones, berries, hides and more. At campfires and in towns you turn those into clothes and tools at the crafting bench, then trade the rest. The catch is weight. The more you carry, the slower you walk, so every trip is a choice about what to keep and what to sell.

The world is connected. You cross paths with real players, swap goods with them and buy from town stalls stocked by other people. When you reach Eden Falls you can settle into the town and pick a trade, hunter, tailor, cook or carpenter among them, each with its own way to earn.

What the MOD gives you

The MOD keeps your money topped up so an empty purse never stops you. Here is what that changes in practice:

One honest limit: some of the money in The Trail is checked on the server, not only on your phone. The exact MOD package for the current build is listed in the «MOD info» line at the top of this page, and we re-test it after each game update.

Online play and ban risk

The Trail is tied to a server. Global trading, town stalls and swaps with other players all run through Kongregate's systems, which means modified money can be refused online, and an account that trades unusual amounts can be flagged, limited or reset.

So here is the straight version. The MOD is safest for playing on your own, building up your walker and reaching Eden Falls at your own pace. If you step into live trading with real players, do it carefully and play fair. That side of the game is not something a MOD can protect.

How to download and install The Trail MOD APK

This is a large game, about 668 MB, so it usually ships as an XAPK (an APK plus its data in one file) rather than a single APK. Install it with an XAPK installer and the steps below.

• Sell what you do not need at town stalls before moving on. Clutter is just weight with no use.
• Craft warm clothes before the mountains. The cold up there wears you down fast without them.
• When you reach Eden Falls, join a town whose trade fits how you like to play.
