Zombieville USA APK is the game that put mobile zombie shooters on the map, an iOS hit from 2008 by Mika Mobile, the studio behind Battleheart, rebuilt to run on modern Android. It is a side-scroller with one simple loop: one survivor, endless hordes, and a shopping trip between rounds. The MOD version starts you with unlimited cash and ammo, so the whole weapon rack is open from the first street.

What is Zombieville USA?

You walk one screen at a time. Zombies come from both sides, you shoot, and when a house appears you can duck inside, sometimes a survivor is waiting to join you, sometimes it is empty. Run out of ammo and the choice gets grim: die, or search the pockets of the dead for cash to buy more.

There are 18 weapons to work through: shotguns, chainsaws, rocket launchers, katanas, flamethrowers and stranger things. Cars sit on some streets, so jump in and mow a line of zombies flat. It looks like a simple arcade game, and it is, but managing cash and ammo run to run has more depth than the hand-drawn cartoon art lets on.

What the MOD gives you

One honest point: the original Zombieville USA is already free on Google Play, with no ads and no in-app purchases, which is rare. So the MOD is not «the paid game for free». It is for players who want the full arsenal in hand from the start instead of grinding cash out of dead zombies. Zombieville USA on Google Play in 2026

The original is alive on Google Play right now, free, no ads, no in-app purchases. Mika Mobile pulled it back together for current Android and put it out with, in their own words, «no ads, no IAP, no nonsense». The last update landed back in 2016, which means version 1.1 is the final one. There is nothing newer to wait for, and the file stays current.

• Cars are free kills. When one is on the street, drive through the crowd before you start shooting.
• Search every house. A rescued survivor is an extra gun, and that is what carries you through the later, thicker waves.
