Assassin's Creed Pirates MOD APK is Ubisoft's 2013 naval action game set in the Assassin's Creed universe, a spin-off of Black Flag where you captain a warship across the 1716 Caribbean. Here is the catch: the game has been pulled from Google Play and the App Store, so there is no legal way to buy or download it anymore. The APK + OBB on this page is the only way left to play it, and the MOD gives you unlimited money (gold) so you can max out your ship from the first mission.

We checked this file for malware and installed it on a real Android device before publishing, we have done this since 2018. This page is, in effect, an archive: version 2.9.1 is the final version and will never change.

What is Assassin's Creed Pirates?

Assassin's Creed Pirates puts you in command of Captain Alonzo Batilla, a young pirate chasing the legendary treasure of La Buse across the Caribbean of 1716. It sits in the same era as Black Flag, but it is built around ship-to-ship combat rather than the assassin's rooftop parkour.

Battles are about timing and position: line up your broadside, wait for the perfect angle, fire the cannons, then close in for the boarding. Between fights you spend gold to upgrade your hull, sails, cannons and crew, take on side missions and hunt for treasure. The 3D graphics were near the top of what mobile could do in 2013, and the sea still looks good today. It is a focused, replayable naval game, short missions you can pick up for ten minutes at a time.

Why it's not on Google Play (and why that matters)

Ubisoft removed Assassin's Creed Pirates from Google Play and the App Store. The last update the game ever got was in July 2016, and version 2.9.1 is the final build. There will be no more. You cannot buy it, and you cannot download it officially anywhere. That is why this page exists.

The upside: it is a fully offline game. It never needed a server or a login, so nothing on Ubisoft's side can switch it off. A delisted online game would be dead by now; this one is not. Grab the APK and OBB here and it runs in 2026 exactly as it did on launch day. If you want to play Assassin's Creed Pirates at all, the file on this page is the way in.

What the MOD gives you

The exact MOD package is listed in the «MOD info» line at the top of this page. The core of it is unlimited money/gold. It does not add new missions or change the story. It just removes the coin grind so you spend your time sailing, not farming.

How to install APK + OBB (step by step)

This game ships as two files. An OBB, an "opaque binary blob", is a data file that holds the game's textures, audio and assets, kept separate from the APK. You install the APK first, then place the OBB where the game can find it.

1. Download both files from the buttons on this page, the APK (about 35 MB) and the OBB (about 774 MB). Make sure you have around 1.6 GB free.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser (Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps).
3. Install the APK, but do not open the game yet.
4. Move the OBB into Android/obb/com.ubisoft.assassinscreed.pirates/ using a file manager. If the folder is not there, create it.
5. Now launch the game. Your gold is already maxed.

Tips for captains

• Fire on the broadside, not head-on: turn so your full row of cannons faces the enemy, then let go.
• Watch the red targeting line, release the moment it lines up for the heaviest hit.
• With unlimited gold you can skip straight to a heavy flagship, but upgrade your hull first so you can take hits while you learn the combat.
• Run the treasure-hunt and side missions early. They are the most fun part, and money is no longer a reason to skip them.

Compatibility on modern Android

Be realistic about this one: Assassin's Creed Pirates is a 2016 build. On Android 13, 14 and 15 it launches and plays, but you may hit the odd issue, a rare crash, or a stretched interface on tall, wide screens the game was never designed for.

If it misbehaves, the usual fixes work. Reinstall the OBB into the correct Android/obb folder if the game says data is missing. Clear the app cache. On some devices a compatibility or "legacy display" mode smooths out the stretched layout. None of this is common, but on a game this old it is worth knowing before you start.
