1.1.1.1 + WARP APK is Cloudflare's official free VPN app for Android. One tap and your traffic is encrypted, your DNS switches to the fast 1.1.1.1 resolver, and nobody on your network can read what you are doing, with no account, signup or SMS. What is 1.1.1.1 + WARP?

The app has three modes, and it helps to know which one you actually want.

• 1.1.1.1 (DNS only). Points your phone at Cloudflare's public DNS resolver. Faster lookups, and your internet provider stops seeing each site name you visit. No tunnel, no encryption of the traffic itself.
• WARP. The full mode. It wraps your connection in an encrypted tunnel (a modern WireGuard-based protocol) between your phone and Cloudflare. Free and with no data limit.
• WARP+. A paid Cloudflare subscription that routes you through the nearest Cloudflare data centers for extra speed on busy networks.

One honest point up front: this is a privacy and speed tool, not an anonymizer. WARP does not change your IP geolocation and it will not unblock region-locked streams. What it does is stop your provider and the Wi-Fi owner from snooping on your traffic, and it often fixes slow or throttled connections. Cloudflare also states it does not sell your browsing data. If you need to switch regions, that is a different kind of app.

WARP vs a classic VPN

So «is WARP a real VPN?». It uses a real encrypted tunnel, but it is not built to make you look like you are in another country. If changing your region is the whole point for you, try Psiphon Pro instead. For fast, private everyday browsing on your own connection, WARP is the simpler answer.

About the MOD and «Unlimited WARP+»

Here is the part most sites will not tell you straight. WARP+ is a server-side subscription. The extra-speed quota is tied to your Cloudflare key and counted on Cloudflare's servers, not stored in the app. That means no client-side patch can truly hand you unlimited WARP+. The «unlimited» builds floating around run on referral or generated keys, and Cloudflare closes those keys, so they stop working, often within days.

What that leaves you is simple: the free base WARP is unlimited already, and for most people it is the whole answer. If a build here is ever labelled with extra WARP+ features, that label reflects only what our editors confirmed on a real device. We do not promise a server subscription that we cannot deliver. When in doubt, install the clean app and turn on WARP. That is the honest, working path.

The app comes from Cloudflare, a company whose business is network infrastructure, not selling ads. Its public privacy policy says it does not sell your browsing data and keeps only limited, short-lived logs. The one permission that matters is the VPN service itself.
