What is Baseball Star?

Baseball Star is a full 3D baseball game by playus soft where you both play the matches and run the club, batting and pitching by hand, or letting the auto mode take over when you just want the season to move. Between games you are the manager: you draft players, set the lineup and shape a team that is yours.

You build your own team from scratch: name, uniform, logo and roster are all yours to set. Then you take it through the modes. My League plays out a full season, Challenge climbs five leagues from Minor up to Legend, and daily Events hand out extra rewards. Training makes players stronger, cards and recruits deepen the roster, and stadium upgrades round out the club.

It stays light, around 92 MB, and runs on Android 5.0 and up, so it works on older phones too, with no internet needed at any point.

What BP, CP and AP mean (and what the MOD gives)

Most download pages leave these three letters unexplained, so here it is. In Baseball Star, BP means Ball Park points for upgrading your stadium, CP means Combo Points for player cards and recruits, and AP means Auto Points that feed the auto-play modes.

• Timing beats power. Watch the ball and swing on the pitch, not before it. A clean, well-timed contact does more than mashing the button for a big swing.
• Upgrade your pitcher first. A weak pitcher loses games you should win, so pour early points into the mound before you chase sluggers.
• Train before a tournament. Run a training round on your key players ahead of a Challenge league or Event, not in the middle of one.
• Use auto for the grind. Let Auto Play or Auto Season handle the filler games to bank rewards, and step in by hand for the matches that decide a title.
• Spend freely. With CP and BP that don't run down, pull player cards and max the stadium early instead of hoarding. The roster you build now is what wins the later leagues.
