What the Modyolo app offers

The app works as a simple browser for mods packaged as APK files. Here is what it actually included, based on its Google Play listing:

• A catalog of modified games and premium apps in APK format.
• Free to use. No purchase to open the catalog.
• A built-in guide for first-time users who have not sideloaded an app before.
• A plain, no-frills interface.
• Ads inside the app. That is a documented fact from the store listing, not a judgement.

Its listed genre on Google Play was Books & Reference. That looks odd for a mod catalog, but it is the category the developer chose, so we keep it as-is.

Why Modyolo is not on Google Play

Google Play does not allow apps whose main job is distributing modified or cracked software. Catalogs of mod APKs fall under that rule, and the Modyolo app was removed on 24 November 2022.

Since then, version 1.0.0 has stayed the last release. The developer has not shipped an update since October 2022, so there will be no newer build. That is why an APK from a source you trust is the only way to run it. Our file is the original Google Play package, scanned before it went live. We do not link to the Play Store here, because the app is no longer listed there, the store page is empty.
