What is Prime Peaks?

Prime Peaks is a physics-based hill-climb game by a25-apps, the studio behind the com.a25apps.HillClimber package. You take a vehicle across bumpy, tilting terrain and try to reach the end of each stage without flipping over or running out of fuel. Gas and brake are most of the controls: lean back on a climb, tap the brake in the air to land on your wheels, and watch the fuel gauge between checkpoints.

The game spreads across nine regions, from Green Forest and Wild West to Icy Alaska, Sandy Beach, Dirty Oil and the Docks, each with roughly six levels. There are dozens of vehicles to drive too, from a rusty starter car and a minibike up to a jeep, buggy, monster truck, quad bike and even a hovercraft. Each one handles the hills differently, so part of the game is picking the right ride for the terrain.

Tips for hill-climbing

• Grab every fuel can on the track. Even with unlimited coins, an empty tank is what ends most runs.
• Feather the gas on steep climbs. Full throttle flips you over backwards.
• Upgrade suspension before the rougher regions like Dirty Oil and the Construction Site, where hard landings matter most.
• Match the vehicle to the ground: a monster truck or quad bike handles mud and rocks far better than the starter car.
