What is Angry Birds Star Wars?

Angry Birds Star Wars is a crossover from Rovio that drops the slingshot birds into the Star Wars universe. The birds are the rebels, and each one carries a power of its own: Luke swings a lightsaber, another fires blasters, and a third throws up a Force field to shield the flock. The green pigs are the Sith, led by Darth Vader.

At its core it is the same physics puzzle as every Angry Birds game: launch a bird from the slingshot and knock down the pigs and their block towers. The Star Wars twist is space. Many levels play out among asteroids and planets, where gravity bends your shot into a curve instead of a straight line. There are dozens of levels to work through, and the goal on each one is the same, three stars.

Why is it a delisted game?

Rovio removed Angry Birds Star Wars from Google Play and the App Store around 2020, after its Star Wars license ran out. The game was built on a Disney and Lucasfilm deal, and once that deal ended, the title had to come down. Version 1.5.13 was the last one released, and no further updates are coming.

Because the store listing is gone, the APK is the only way left to play it. This is not about dodging a price, since the game was free with ads and in-app purchases while it was live. Rovio itself later archived the legacy APK, so the file is the preservation of a game that is no longer sold, not a workaround.

What the MOD gives you

The MOD switches on unlimited power-ups from the start. In Angry Birds Star Wars, power-ups are the boosters you spend to get past a level that keeps beating you, and normally you either grind for them or buy them. Here you have them without limit.
