What is Tank Stars?

Tank Stars is a turn-based 2D artillery duel, the same idea as Worms or Pocket Tanks, built for quick mobile matches. Each turn you set the angle and the power, watch your fuel, then fire. Miss and it is the enemy's shot. The last tank standing wins.

There is a full roster to unlock, from the plain T-34 and Tiger up to oddballs like the Toxic Tank and the Atomic Launcher. You play against the CPU, pass one phone back and forth in local hot-seat, or go online for ranked PvP, 2v2 and 4v4 team battles and timed tournaments.

One honest note: these values apply in your offline profile. In ranked online play the game keeps score on its own servers, so progress there can sync differently and the modded totals may not carry over. Tips to win duels

Unlimited money buys the tanks; aim wins the match. A few things that actually help:

• Watch your fuel. Moving costs fuel and so does firing on some weapons, don't roll around the map early and leave yourself stuck in the open.
• When a hill is between you and the enemy, drop the power and lob the shot high so it comes down on top of them instead of hitting the slope.
• Open with a cheap, reliable weapon to find the range, then switch to your heavy hitter, nukes and plasma are wasted if you're still guessing the angle.
• Stay put when you have the high ground; move only to dodge a shot you know is coming or to escape a bad angle.
• Freezing bombs and tasers stop a tank from repositioning, use them to pin an enemy before the finishing blow.

MOD or original for online?

For casual matches against the CPU and hot-seat with a friend, the MOD is all upside. Everything unlocked, no ads, fully playable offline. For ranked online tournaments it is riskier: the servers track your account, so modded progress can desync and account bans are possible.
