Gods of Rome MOD APK is the final build, version 1.9.7a, of Gameloft's mythology fighter, kept here as an archive. One thing to say up front: Gameloft stopped supporting the game and pulled it from the stores around 2019, so it is no longer a live service. What you download on this page is the last client, a 35.5 MB APK plus an 839.8 MB OBB, scanned for malware and installed on a real Android device by our editors before publishing.

What is Gods of Rome?

Gods of Rome is a one-on-one touch fighter by Gameloft, built around a roster of mythological and historical warriors: gods, heroes and legendary figures from across the ancient world. You collect fighters, level them up, and take them into duels using tap and swipe controls, with special moves fired off by tapping the right button at the right moment.

The game mixed a story campaign with one-off battles, and it leaned on flashy 3D combat rather than deep fighting-game systems. It is easy to pick up: block, dodge, chain a few hits, then land a special. Think of it as a collect-and-fight game with a fighting skin, not a technical arcade brawler.

Important: delisted and unsupported

Here is the honest status, because it changes what this download is. Gameloft confirmed back in 2019 that Gods of Rome was no longer supported, the online servers were switched off, and the game was taken off the app stores. You cannot install it from Google Play anymore, which is part of why an external APK is the only route back into it.

Be clear on what that means. The parts that talked to a server, online matches, events, purchases and progress sync, no longer connect. One review left on this page, in Portuguese, simply says the player could not load the game, which fits an old and unsupported title. On newer Android phones the build may fail to launch at all. This is a frozen legacy client, handed over as is.

APK + OBB: what you get

This game ships in two files, and both are on this page. Here is what each one holds.

A word on the label. The «MOD info» line reads «Full», and that means the complete final build, the APK plus its full OBB, not a game with every reward already handed to you. Gods of Rome ran its gems and gold on a server, so an APK cannot add that currency, and with the servers gone there is nothing left to buy into anyway. No unlimited gems here, just the whole last version of the game.

How to download and install Gods of Rome MOD APK

1. Tap the green Download APK button at the top of this page, then grab the OBB file listed with it. Both come directly, no registration or SMS.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings, then Security).
3. Install the APK, but do not open it yet.
4. Move the OBB into the Android/obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftGOHM folder, creating it if it is not there.
5. Open the game. It needs Android 4.0.3 or newer, and a first-launch server check may fail, which is normal for an archived title.

Will it still work?

Honest answer: maybe, and only in part. The offline and single-player pieces can still run if the build launches on your device, but anything that needed the servers is dead. There are no updates coming, no online play, and no way to sync your progress or restore old purchases.

Older phones from the game's era have the best chance of running it. On modern Android, expect launch errors or graphic issues, since the code has not been touched since around 2019. Treat this as a retro archive to revisit out of curiosity, not a live game you can sink months into.
