What is TeraBox?

TeraBox is a cloud storage service from Flextech Inc., the company that bought the app once known as Dubox. You get 1 TB of free space for photos, videos and files, which is far more than most free cloud apps hand out. The package name is com.dubox.drive, a small trace of that older Dubox history.

On a phone it does the usual cloud jobs and does them well. It can auto-back up your photos and videos in the background, sync files across your phone, tablet and computer, sort everything into folders, and search inside your account. Files are encrypted while they move between your device and the server, so a stranger on the same Wi-Fi cannot read them in transit.

Free vs Premium

The free plan is generous, but it comes with ads and a few caps. Premium lifts those limits and adds more room. Here is the split.

The key point: Premium is a server-side subscription. When you pay, TeraBox flips a flag on your account on its own servers, and every app you sign in with then honors it. The 2 TB, the higher speed and the larger file limit are all counted and checked on the server, not on your phone.

What the MOD actually does

This is where honesty matters, because most mod pages get it wrong. A modified TeraBox APK works on the client, meaning the app on your phone. It can strip out the ads and switch on the Premium-looking parts of the interface locally, so the app feels cleaner and shows the Premium layout.

What it cannot do is add real storage. It does not give you +2 TB, it does not make your space unlimited, and it does not get around the server quota. A free account stays at 1 TB because that number is stored and checked on the TeraBox server, and no client patch can rewrite it from your side. 2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings then Security).
3. If the official TeraBox from Google Play is already installed, remove it first, since the mod has a different signature and will not install on top of it.
4. Open the downloaded file, tap Install, and wait for it to finish. The app needs Android 5.1 or newer.

Safety and legal note
