The VidMate Cash app is a rewards program, not the VidMate video downloader, and it does not guarantee you any money. It pays out internal points, called Cash, for finishing tasks, watching short videos and filling in surveys, which you can then try to withdraw once you pass a set threshold. What is VidMate Cash?

VidMate Cash is a get-paid-to (GPT) rewards app. The idea is simple: you finish small jobs from an offerwall, such as installing other apps, answering surveys or watching ads, and the app credits you with points it calls Cash. Collect enough and you can request a payout.

Despite the name, it has nothing to do with the original VidMate video downloader made by UCWeb. It borrows the VidMate brand, but there is no official link between the two. How it actually works

The flow the app describes looks like this:

• Register an account and set up a profile.
• Open the offerwall and pick tasks: surveys, app installs, video views.
• Earn Cash points for each task you finish and get approved.
• Keep going until you reach the withdrawal threshold, which the app puts at around 2,800 Cash.
• Request a payout to PayPal or a gift card.

Treat this as the mechanic the app advertises, not as a promise. Reaching the threshold and getting money out are two different things, and the second one is where people run into trouble.

Honest look at the risks

This is the part most promo pages skip. Before you spend hours on it, know what you are getting into:

• The pay is small and slow. Tasks are worth very little, so reaching the threshold takes a lot of time.
• The withdrawal threshold is high relative to what you earn per task, so many users grind for a long while before they can cash out.
• Payout complaints are common. Reviews mention delays, requests that never get approved, and accounts that stall near the finish line.
• Heavy advertising. The offerwall and the app itself push a lot of ads.
• The earning feature is region-locked. It works mainly in India and Indonesia, and may not be available where you live.
• The VidMate brand is used without official approval from the real VidMate.

We are not going to label it a flat-out scam, and we are not going to confirm that it pays either. The honest answer is that reviews are mixed. Some users report small payouts after steady effort, while others report grinding to the threshold and then hitting a wall at withdrawal.

So treat it with care. Do not put your own money into it, do not pay any fee to speed up a payout, and do not hand over more personal or payment data than a rewards app needs. Check the withdrawal terms and make sure your region is supported before you invest hours of your time. If a rewards app ever asks you to pay in order to get paid, walk away.
