What is Warzone Mobile?

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile by Activision is a mobile battle royale that drops a large lobby of players onto a shrinking map, where the last squad standing wins. It brought the console and PC Warzone experience to phones, with real-time matches for well over 100 players at once.

It plays like the rest of the series. You build loadouts, pick from a full arsenal of weapons, and use touch controls with voice and text chat for your squad. It ties into the wider Call of Duty ecosystem, so progress and unlocks were shared across platforms while the service was fully running. All of it is online.

Current status of the game

This is the honest part most pages leave out. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is no longer fully operational, and new downloads from the official stores have been paused since around May 2025. The game is being wound down, so its online servers may or may not be up when you try to play.

Because of that, treat this download as an archive of the original client, not a guarantee of a live game. It is a heavy install, so before you commit the space, check whether the servers are still reachable. If they are not, the client cannot do much on its own.

Requirements and performance

The real requirements are higher than some listings suggest. You need Android 13 or newer, more than 4 GB of RAM, a compatible GPU and plenty of free storage, plus a constant internet connection, since there is no offline mode.

If your phone is near the minimum, drop the graphics settings to low, close background apps before a match, and play on a stable connection. This is a demanding game, and older or lower-memory devices will struggle.

Is there a Warzone Mobile mod?

No, not a real one. Currency, the battle pass and skins are all stored on Activision's servers, so a client-side mod cannot add them. Any file promising unlimited CP, an aimbot or free skins is either fake or a fast way to get your account banned by the anti-cheat. We do not publish cheat builds or patch instructions for this game. Play it as the standard client or not at all.

How to download and install

This is a large download of around 1.6 GB, and the game pulls extra data on the first launch, so use Wi-Fi and free up space first.
