Castle Defense 2 MOD APK is the final release of DH Games’ tower defense classic, packed with unlimited money so you can max out towers and heroes from the first wave. The game once passed 20 million installs on Google Play, but it was pulled from the store, and the APK is now the only way to play it.

What is Castle Defense 2?

Castle Defense 2 is a tower defense game with light RPG layers from DH Games (DroidHang). You defend your base along a fixed path, but the twist is depth: over 20 towers to build and upgrade, from the Floating Fortress to the Steam Plant and the Alchemist’s Lab, each with its own role against ground, air and armored enemies.

On top of the towers sit your heroes. You place fighters like the Berserker, a fast assassin and a forest mage directly on the map, and they fight, block and cast alongside your defenses. Add Battle Pets and active spells and you have a game that rewards planning as much as reflexes. The hand-drawn art still holds up. Game modes cover Campaign, Endless, Expedition and Boss Rush, so there is plenty to do after the main story.

Why Castle Defense 2 is gone from Google Play

Here is the part no other download page explains. DH Games stopped supporting Castle Defense 2 after 2017, and the store listing was later removed, the package com.droidhang.cd2 no longer resolves to a live Google Play page. There is no official way to install it anymore.

Be straight about what that means. The PVP Arena and any other online, server-backed features are dead, the servers are gone and will not come back. What still works is the heart of the game: the Campaign and the offline modes launch and play normally on current Android. If you came for the single-player tower defense that earned those 20 million downloads, it is all here. The APK is simply the only door left.

What the MOD gives you

The MOD focuses on one thing and does it fully: money.

To keep expectations honest: the core of this MOD is unlimited money. Gems and crystals are a separate currency, the exact package for the file on this page is always shown in the «MOD info» line at the top, so check there before you download. And since the online side is dead, there are no server currencies or accounts to unlock; everything the MOD touches is local to your device.

Tips for new defenders

Unlimited money removes the grind, not the strategy. A few things that actually help on the harder maps:

• Treat your hero as a plug for leaks. Drop them onto the tile where enemies break through and let them hold the line while your towers reload.
• Mix damage types. Arrow towers shred light enemies but stall against armor, so pair them with magic towers that ignore it.
• On narrow maps, spend on range upgrades before extra towers, a few far-reaching towers cover more path than a crowd of short-range ones.
• Replay early Campaign levels for full stars. Star totals gate later content, and clean early clears are the easiest ones to earn.

MOD or original?

There is no original to choose here, Google Play no longer carries Castle Defense 2, so the APK is the game. If you want the full single-player tower defense with towers and heroes maxed from the start, this MOD is the way in.
