What is SHAREit?

SHAREit is a file-transfer app from Smart Media4U Technology Pte. Ltd. It sends photos, videos, music, documents and installed apps straight from one device to another over WiFi Direct, so you spend no mobile data and the files arrive at full quality.

The two devices build their own local WiFi network and talk directly, which is what keeps transfers quick, up to around 20 MB/s on good hardware. It is cross-platform as well: Android, iOS and Windows can all trade files, so a phone can hand a folder to a laptop and take one back.

What the MOD gives you

The MOD is a clean client build. It changes what happens on your phone, not what happens on SHAREit's servers.

Here is the honest line. This is client-side ad removal, not a bypass of any paid server subscription. Basic file transfer in SHAREit is free to begin with, so the MOD's real job is to strip the ads and tracking the app is known for, not to hand you a paid account for nothing.

Offline transfer and privacy

Every transfer runs over the local WiFi link between your two devices. The internet is not part of it, which means you can send files on a plane, in a village with no signal or anywhere the mobile network drops. A base transfer needs no login and no account, so there is nothing to sign into and nothing to get banned from.

One fair note on the original app. SHAREit has been criticised over the years for heavy ads and background tracking, and the No Ads MOD is a direct answer to that. Even so, install it only from a source you trust, keep Play Protect on and you are good to go.

How to download SHAREit MOD APK

1. Tap the green Download APK button at the top of this page. The file comes down directly, no registration or SMS.
2. Allow installation from unknown sources for your browser or file manager (Settings → Security).
3. Updating from a Play Store copy? Remove it first. The MOD carries a different signature and will not install over it.
4. Open the downloaded file, tap Install, and launch the app.

How to send and receive files

Once SHAREit is on both devices, a transfer takes a few taps.

1. On the device sending files, tap Send and pick the photos, videos or apps you want to move.
2. On the receiving device, tap Receive so it becomes visible to the sender.
3. The two devices find each other and connect directly over their own WiFi link.
4. Confirm the transfer and wait for the files to land.

The same flow works between two Android phones and between a phone and the Windows version, so pushing a video from your handset to a PC follows the same Send and Receive steps.

MOD or original?

The original SHAREit is free on Google Play and works fine, but it shows ads and carries the tracking the app is known for. The MOD keeps the same file transfer and drops both, with the premium extras already open. Nothing on the server side changes, so both versions move files the same way.
